Kevin builds secure, resilient AI and light-based computing systems, and has spent his career putting them into production. He spent 25 years on Wall Street, most recently leading a think tank inside a large global bank as its Senior Technology Director of Research. The model was simple: the firm handed the team its hardest problems, the team did the research and the engineering, and the result went into production at bank scale. That included a custom virtual desktop architecture for 300,000 seats, a human resources platform for 390,000 employees that collapsed a sprawling intranet of data into one system, a post-quantum compute initiative to harden an organization of 500,000 employees, 200,000 applications, and 55,000 servers, and a production hyperdimensional AI platform that government organizations run today. Along the way he filed 77 patents, five of them now granted. He is also founder and chief technology officer of Mjolnir Photonics Lab, where the firm’s photonic, ternary, and hyperdimensional computing ideas are prototyped, and he keeps studying: MIT Professional Education in data science, large language models, and quantum computing, and Carnegie Mellon in deep learning. His published work is on Google Scholar.
Theresa spent 28 years in publishing and insurance analytics shipping products that millions of people rely on. She came up through the technology side of business publishing at Reed Business Information, Cahners Travel Group, and Northstar Travel Media, ran operations at IQ Solutions, and then rose at Consumer Reports from program manager to Senior Director of Product Management, building the digital products and subscriber systems behind the organization. She is now Managing Director of Digital Platforms. Here she holds delivery and the client relationship, which means the work arrives on the date it was promised. Kaila is in the lab on the materials underneath the next machines: two-dimensional semiconductors, studied at Stevens Institute of Technology.
